Canadian Railroad Trilogy

After reading books based on well-known songs, Mr. Gerow of The Grumpy Grandpas came to our class to sing some of our favourites with us. One of those favourites is Gordon Lightfoot’s Canadian Railroad Trilogy. Inspired by the music and the illustrations of Ian Wallace’s book of the same name, we created our own artwork. We were excited to learn from the CBC that the book has recently been nominated for the TD Canadian Children’s Literature Award.
